About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for the Winter 2027 term. You will work within the Radio Software team to develop and maintain radio products for networks including 5G, LTE, WCDMA, GSM, and CDMA. This position is based on-site at the Kanata Tech Park in Ottawa.
What you'll do#
- Develop manual and automated test strategies and test cases.
- Configure lab environments to test product functionality.
- Execute test cases according to a planned execution profile.
- Document results, including any observed software, hardware, or procedural issues.
- Troubleshoot to identify and classify faults, and fix them when possible.
- Work with product verification, design, and support teams to verify product functionality.
What you'll need#
- You are entering your 3rd or 4th year of a Bachelor or Master program in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Solid programming knowledge in Python and Java.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- A background in C++ is valuable.
- Experience with automation tools, signal analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, or radio telecommunication systems is a plus.

- Location: Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Duration: Minimum 12 months, with a preference for 16 months.
