About the role#
In this position, you will join the team developing the Ericsson 5G Core portfolio. You will contribute to a carrier-grade, cloud-native, and high-performance Packet Core network. This work helps communication providers automate their networks and optimize resources to deliver services for consumer and enterprise use cases.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the development and testing of microservices using cloud-native architecture principles.
- Participate in Continuous Integration processes for products.
- Contribute to design documentation, including component descriptions and use case modeling.
- Support troubleshooting efforts for issues assigned to the team.
- Participate in Agile team activities such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, demos, feature grooming, and retrospectives.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate, master’s, or PhD program at a four-year college or university.
- Programming experience in Golang and/or C++.
- Knowledge of integration technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, REST, Helm, Jenkins, Spinnaker, JSON, and GitLab.
- Familiarity with tools such as Git, Artifactory, Maven, Gradle, and databases like Neo4J.
- Familiarity with AI and automation concepts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English is required.
- A GPA of 2.7 or higher.
- Ability to upload an unofficial transcript during the application process.

- Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027 (4 months).
- Start Date: January 4, 2027.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Commitment: Full-time (40 hours per week).
