About the role#
This is a full-time co-op position based in Ottawa, Ontario. You will join the team for the Winter 2027 term to support business intelligence initiatives. This role is on-site and requires a 40-hour work week.
What you'll do#
- Build and maintain business analytics software for a large data warehouse.
- Develop software to extract, clean, standardize, and deliver business data.
- Work directly with large-scale business datasets.
- Collaborate with team members across the organization.
- Apply Agile practices to your daily work.
- Review software designs and troubleshoot technical issues.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited undergraduate or Master's program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Data Science.
- A minimum 2.7 GPA or equivalent.
- Proficiency in C# or Java.
- SQL coding skills and knowledge of .NET development.
- Familiarity with databases, data mining, and warehousing concepts.
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, and version control systems like Git.
