About the role#
This internship is a 12-week program within the CTO organization, supporting CU Hyperscalers and Regional Carriers. You will work at the intersection of mobile networks, AI, cloud technologies, and business strategy. This role provides exposure to technology leadership and helps shape decisions regarding connectivity and digital transformation.
What you'll do#
- Support the enablement of emerging technologies like 5G/6G, AI, cloud-native platforms, and automation.
- Assist with technology strategy initiatives and customer-focused innovation projects.
- Prepare summaries, recommendations, and presentations for both technical and business stakeholders.
- Collaborate on network transformation, innovation, and technology planning activities.
- Use AI-enabled tools to analyze information, identify trends, and improve productivity across technical projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Bachelor, Master, or PhD student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
- Foundational understanding of IP networking concepts, including IPv4/IPv6, TCP/IP, Ethernet, and VLANs.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to research complex topics and translate technical concepts into practical insights.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
