About the role#
The Investment Solutions Group (ISG) provides specialized knowledge, education, and analysis to clients. This nine-week internship offers exposure to the day-to-day activities of an Investment Solutions Analyst. You will work within the Content Architecture team to support data and automation infrastructure, helping to create consistent and scalable content. You will also gain insight into how the group collaborates with Research, Portfolio Management, Trading, and Marketing teams.
What you'll do#
- Collect, organize, and analyze data from internal and external databases.
- Build scalable data models to support the content data ecosystem.
- Improve existing processes to increase efficiency.
- Identify methods to programmatically source data and automate the production of materials.
What you'll need#
- Progress toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- A demonstrated history of academic achievement.
- Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills with comfort handling large data sets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for explaining technical processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Interest in financial markets and Dimensional’s investment philosophy.
- Preference for candidates with knowledge of SQL, Python, or other relevant programming languages.
