About the role#
The Data Analyst Intern will support the Data Strategy and Governance team. You will help advance data, model, and AI governance initiatives across the organization. This role provides hands-on experience with data quality and governance processes while contributing to enterprise-wide efforts. You will partner with business and technology stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making and support the management of data and AI solutions.
What you'll do#
- Support the Data Strategy and Governance team with data, model, and AI governance initiatives.
- Collect, analyze, validate, and report data to support governance and business decisions.
- Develop dashboards, reports, metrics, and monitoring tools to track data quality and governance effectiveness.
- Assist with data quality assessments, governance documentation, metadata management, and issue resolution.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement through data analysis.
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to support governance objectives.
- Communicate insights and recommendations through reports and presentations.
- Deliver a final presentation to leadership regarding your accomplishments and key learnings.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or advanced degree program in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Technical experience with SQL, Excel, Python, or other data analysis and visualization tools. Power BI is preferred.
- Ability to commit to a full-time 10-week internship program.
- Ability to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
