About the role#
Entegris is seeking an AI Continuous Improvement Co-Op for our site in Decatur, Texas. This full-time, paid position is scheduled for the Winter 2027 term and lasts for 6 months. You will support our Continuous Improvement team by identifying and deploying practical AI solutions that automate tasks and improve productivity across our manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain operations.
What you'll do#
- Identify and prioritize AI use cases to reduce manual effort and support operational excellence.
- Develop workflow automations using Microsoft Power Automate, SharePoint, and Copilot.
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
- Partner with functional teams to document business processes and recommend AI-enabled improvements.
- Create knowledge management resources, including AI prompt libraries and user guides.
- Support the adoption of Microsoft Copilot through training and user support.
- Analyze process data to find opportunities for efficiency and waste reduction.
- Research emerging AI technologies for potential application in an industrial environment.
- Ensure all AI solutions follow company cybersecurity and data privacy requirements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor or master degree program in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Must be returning to school after the co-op assignment.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is preferred.
- Familiarity with data analysis, reporting, or process improvement concepts.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications like Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Python, or SQL is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and work effectively in a team.
- Familiarity with your university requirements for co-op participation.
