About the role#
Entegris is seeking a Product Development Engineering Co-Op for a 6-month assignment in Hillsboro, Oregon. This role supports the design and optimization of new products and processes for Chemical Mechanical Planarization pads. You will work on-site Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
What you'll do#
- Support the development and commercialization of new products.
- Lead projects focused on continuous improvement to increase process efficiency and reduce product variation.
- Collaborate with various business functions to support manufacturing processes.
- Investigate and resolve customer product quality inquiries.
- Work on the factory floor for up to 8 hours per day to operate machinery and test equipment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a rising junior or senior in a STEM bachelor's degree program.
- Familiarity with your university's requirements for co-op participation.
- Experience working in a lab setting, either through school or employment.
- Knowledge of safe lab practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to write technical reports and present data clearly.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week from January through June 2027.

- Term: Winter 2027 (January to June).
- Compensation: $20 to $30 per hour.
