About the role#
We are looking for a Technical Training Co-Op to join our team in Chaska, Minnesota. This is a full-time, 6-month assignment starting in January 2027. You will work with the APS Technical Training team to support employee training programs, documentation, and operational initiatives across our sites.
What you'll do#
- Create, revise, and organize technical training materials, work instructions, and learning resources.
- Manage training records and learning management system (LMS) activities, including enrollment tracking and reporting.
- Analyze training data to identify completion trends, compliance gaps, and areas for process improvement.
- Work with trainers, subject matter experts, and operational teams to support onboarding and workforce development.
- Participate in projects focused on training effectiveness and knowledge management.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Marketing, Interdisciplinary Studies, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact across various functions.
- An analytical mindset with an interest in training, learning and development, and process improvement.
- Status as a currently enrolled student familiar with your university requirements for co-op participation.
Location & details#
- Location: Chaska, Minnesota.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday (8a-5p).
- Term: Winter 2027 (January through June).
- Compensation: $20-$30 per hour.
- Sponsorship: This role does not provide immigration-related sponsorship.
