About the role#
Emerson is seeking a Marketing Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This position is based on-site in Elyria, Ohio. You will work alongside the Engagement Marketing Manager to support brand initiatives, execute campaigns, and analyze marketing data. This is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Conduct internal brand audits to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
- Assist in the planning, strategy, and execution of various events.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create sustainability messaging frameworks, internal messaging, and content calendars.
- Perform market research to identify industry trends and opportunities, including those related to social media and influencer marketing.
- Support Product Management in developing go-to-market strategies for new product launches and business initiatives.
- Map out customer journeys and interactions for the RIDGID and Greenlee brands.
- Assist with cross-departmental projects and internal communications.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in marketing or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with social media platforms.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher is preferred.
- Previous co-op or internship experience is a plus.
