About the role#
As an Intelligent Automation Co-Op, you will join our AI & Automation team to work on project-based assignments. You will contribute to both small and large teams to deliver automated processes. This role focuses on applying Lean concepts and process improvement methodologies while utilizing the Scrum agile framework. You will have the opportunity to develop reporting tools and gain hands-on experience with automation technology in a professional environment.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and implement custom solutions for the automation of existing or new processes.
- Leverage AI and automation tools including Python, SQL, Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate, Power Apps, Microsoft Copilot Studio, and Sema4.ai.
- Work directly with process owners to understand, map, and validate their processes.
- Manage the full lifecycle of automation solutions, from identifying opportunities and gathering requirements to development, testing, and deployment.
- Employ change management techniques during implementation.
- Deploy projects into production, document results, and execute knowledge transfer.
- Participate in team meetings to offer insights on solving complex problems.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Engineering, Business, or IT.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 products.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing demands.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- A collaborative mindset and a strong interest in process improvement.
