About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 within the Marketing & Communications department. You will work alongside the Community Involvement Manager and Coordinator to support company-wide outreach and internal engagement efforts.
What you'll do#
- Assist with EMC-sponsored community events, including coordinating details with partner organizations and securing materials.
- Maintain a list of volunteer opportunities for team members.
- Draft communications to promote the Volunteer Time Off benefit.
- Support the annual Community workplace giving campaign by planning and executing activities.
- Help the broader Marketing & Communications team with project coordination, copywriting, and proofreading.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Communications, Public Relations, or related degree program.
- Completion of your junior year of college.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience coordinating large projects or events is preferred.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
