About the role#
This is a paid internship for Summer 2027 within the claims department at EMC Insurance Companies. You will work remotely while gaining experience in the insurance industry. This role offers the chance to learn about our business processes and products while contributing to meaningful projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist the claims team with building data solutions to support decision making.
- Learn about the EMC culture and internal business processes.
- Develop an understanding of the insurance claims process.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, with a preference for business management or analytics.
- Completion of your junior year is preferred.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher.
- An interest in building a career in property casualty insurance.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Attention to detail and good personal computer knowledge.
Location & details#
- This position is remote and open to candidates located in the United States.
- This is a part-time internship.
- The pay range for this role is $19.50 to $23.00 per hour, depending on location and experience.
