About the role#
This is a paid internship for Summer 2027 within the corporate claims team at EMC Insurance Companies. You will work remotely while gaining exposure to the insurance industry. The program provides structured and unstructured opportunities to develop professional skills and learn about our business processes, culture, and products.
What you'll do#
- Use Business Intelligence tools to create data insights.
- Work with claims stakeholders to gather requirements for reporting and analysis.
- Learn the insurance claims process.
- Explore different departments and connect with mentors.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Communications.
- Completion of your junior year is preferred.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher.
- Interest in a career in property casualty insurance.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and good computer knowledge.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

- This position is remote and eligible to be performed from anywhere in the United States.
