About the role#
This is a paid summer 2027 internship within the branch underwriting department. You will work alongside our team to gain practical experience and learn about the insurance underwriting process. The role is based in Pennsylvania, though candidates residing in Connecticut, Massachusetts, or Rhode Island may perform the work remotely.
What you'll do#
- Support underwriters by gathering information for new business and renewal submissions.
- Communicate with agents and other external sources.
- Learn about our products, business processes, and internal culture.
- Build a foundational understanding of how insurance underwriting works.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Business Administration, Marketing, or Finance degree program.
- Completion of your junior year is preferred.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Clear verbal and written communication abilities.
- High attention to detail and sound decision-making.
- Proficiency with personal computers.
