About the role#
EisnerAmper is hiring a Winter Intern for the Financial Advisory Services team in Iselin. This group provides forensic accounting, valuation services, and economic damages calculations for complex legal disputes. You will work in a hybrid environment and assist with client engagements, data analysis, and report preparation.
What you'll do#
- Summarize and interpret financial records and information.
- Develop accounting, financial, and economic analyses.
- Apply analytical methods to datasets and create visualizations using tools like IDEA, Tableau, JMP, or Power BI.
- Assist in preparing expert reports and other client deliverables.
- Critique opposing expert reports to help prepare rebuttals.
- Interact with clients and counsel to communicate strategy and gather documents.
- Collaborate with managers and partners on practice development and client communication.
- Maintain professional standards and strict client confidentiality.
What you'll need#
- Current junior or senior status pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and September 2028.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
- Strong skills in MS Excel and MS Word.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- 0-2 years of recent public accounting experience is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Iselin, New Jersey.
- Term: Winter 2027, starting in early January.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, requiring 2-3 days per week in-person at the office.
- Hours: 20 to 40 hours per week during business hours (8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday).
- Travel: Ability to travel to client sites if necessary.
