About the role#
The Procurement Intern position is a full-time, 11-week summer program starting June 1, 2027. You will work alongside experienced professionals to support strategic sourcing initiatives and gain hands-on experience in the chemical manufacturing industry. This role offers a hybrid work environment and the potential for a full-time job offer upon graduation.
What you'll do#
- Lead sourcing and procurement projects from the initial planning phase through to implementation.
- Analyze spend, supplier, and market data to find cost savings opportunities.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and align project priorities.
- Manage supplier interactions, including requesting quotes and evaluating pricing models.
- Build expertise within your assigned categories and portfolios.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program for Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or Logistics.
- An anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or May/June 2028.
- Proficiency in Excel and comfort working with data sets.
- A curious mindset with a willingness to learn new systems and tools.
- Interest in developing skills related to negotiation and stakeholder management.

- This is a paid internship located in either Saint Paul, Minnesota, or Naperville, Illinois.
- The position operates on a hybrid schedule.
