About the role#
The FP&A Intern role supports the Finance Manager and the broader finance team at Echo Global Logistics. This position provides financial analysis and guidance to department heads and executives to help them understand the financial impact of business decisions. You will gain insight into the company's business units while assisting with forecasting, reporting, and financial distribution across the organization.
What you'll do#
- Analyze financial results for specific business units and their underlying performance metrics.
- Collaborate with various departments to complete expense allocations during the monthly close process.
- Develop quarterly forecasts and compare actual results against those forecasts.
- Process large quantities of data to deliver concise insights to management.
- Gather financial information to support decision-making for managers and executives.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Finance or Accounting.
- An overall minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Experience with manipulating, interpreting, and presenting data.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

- Compensation: $35,223.00 to $50,166.00 per year.
