About the role#
Capacity is hiring a Finance Intern to join our team in North Brunswick, New Jersey. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position with a rolling term. You will work directly with our finance team to manage client contracts and assist with our core reporting processes.
What you'll do#
- Interpret multi-layer client contracts and analyze financial results.
- Create and audit monthly transaction histories.
- Assist with monthly closing activities and financial reporting.
- Contribute to financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements and management reports.
- Work with senior management on special projects to assess operational and financial data.
What you'll need#
- Current or recent student in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
- High level of computer literacy, specifically with Microsoft Suite and Advanced Excel.
- Strong time management, planning, and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workloads.
- Ability to work in an environment that requires an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Knowledge of supply chain, warehouse distribution, or logistics is desirable.
