About the role#
SwiftX is looking for a Finance & Accounting Intern to join our team in Eastvale. This is a full-time, on-site role that offers hands-on experience with daily accounting operations, month-end closing, and financial reporting. You will work closely with our Finance, Operations, and HR teams to maintain accurate records and improve our internal workflows.
What you'll do#
- Manage daily accounting tasks, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, expense reviews, and payments.
- Prepare journal entries, reconcile bank and account statements, and maintain the general ledger.
- Assist with month-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate transaction recording.
- Create financial and management reports along with supporting schedules.
- Organize and maintain financial documentation such as invoices, receipts, and contracts.
- Perform data collection, validation, and analysis using Microsoft Excel.
- Collaborate across departments to resolve financial discrepancies.
- Identify ways to improve accounting processes and documentation.
