About the role#
As a Strategic Finance Intern, you will support the Operations Finance team to help optimize the financial performance of our global operations. You will work alongside Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Data teams to build analyses, streamline reporting, and develop insights that influence our strategic decisions. This role offers exposure to how a hardware-enabled, technology-driven business operates.
What you'll do#
- Support Operations Finance with metric development, reporting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Query and analyze large operational datasets using SQL.
- Build repeatable dashboards and tools in Excel, Google Sheets, and BI platforms.
- Partner with operations leaders to understand the drivers of cost, efficiency, and performance.
- Assist in month-end processes, variance analysis, and KPI reviews.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, including the ability to build financial models.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Knowledge of financial statements, accounting fundamentals, and unit economics.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with imperfect information to drive clarity.
- Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Science, Operations Management, or Supply Chain Management.

- This is a full-time, on-site internship based in South San Francisco, California.
- The term is for Summer 2027.
