About the role#
This is a hands-on support role within the Mechanical, Instrument and Control Engineering department at our headquarters in Jeannette, Pennsylvania. You will gain experience in the rotating equipment industry by supporting professional engineers as they design, build, and refurbish products for global energy markets. This is a full-time, on-site internship.
What you'll do#
- Integrate fluid system calculation tools into core technical workflows to help standardize engineering practices.
- Draft and update engineering guidelines, standard work instructions, and operational manuals.
- Review operational insights to refine and improve standard work processes.
- Work with cross-functional teams on global initiatives to improve system modeling and analytical accuracy.
- Complete individual projects and participate in team-based activities.
- Shadow colleagues and attend company and customer meetings to observe daily engineering operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Mechanical, Computer, or Electrical Engineering.
- Completion of at least your sophomore year.
- Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site in Jeannette, Pennsylvania.
- You must be able to commute to the office Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
