About the role#
The Supply Chain Intern supports the Materials and Supply Chain teams at East Penn Manufacturing. This position provides hands-on experience in inventory control, procurement, and process improvement within a manufacturing environment. You will work on-site at our Ann Arbor facility for the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Support the Materials and Supply Chain teams with daily operations.
- Assist with procurement activities and coordinate the purchase of materials.
- Participate in inventory variance investigations and root cause analysis.
- Contribute to process improvement projects using data-driven analytical skills.
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment.
What you'll need#
- Full-time college enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Operations Management.
- US Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Resident status.
- Proficiency with personal computers, spreadsheet applications, and keyboarding.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines.
- Ability to work on-site in Ann Arbor, MI.
