About the role#
The Enterprise Protective Services Summer Digital Forensics Investigator Internship offers students a chance to build skills in digital forensics investigations. Interns gain hands-on experience through technical assignments while learning about security programs and operations at Duke Energy. You will have the opportunity to network with experienced professionals and other interns throughout the organization.
What you'll do#
- Learn and apply digital forensics tools, software, and analytical methods.
- Assist with digital forensics investigations.
- Conduct research and perform investigative analysis.
- Support the collection, analysis, and interpretation of digital evidence.
- Develop an understanding of investigative processes and techniques.
- Apply investigative techniques and digital forensic methodologies to answer complex questions.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in and pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity or Criminal Justice.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75.
- Must not graduate prior to August 2027.
- Ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship.
