About the role#
As an intern on the Network Services team, you will work directly with Network Engineering. You will gain hands-on experience with corporate network administration and operations technology, including routers, switches, and wireless controllers. This is a paid, full-time, on-site role based in Cayce, South Carolina.
What you'll do#
- Learn how to manage network administration and operations technology.
- Apply IT tools and software to real-world business applications.
- Observe and participate in the resolution and restoration of network performance issues.
- Engage in projects that require proactive tools and methodologies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 4-year Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- An anticipated graduation date of 2028 or later.
- An understanding of basic networking principles and general networking experience.
- Ability to read technical specifications and evaluate problems to make sound decisions.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Adaptability to changing demands and a willingness to learn quickly.
- Ability to work well within a team.
