About the role#
The Environmental Intern will support the Environmental Market Sector during the Summer 2027 term. This position focuses on gaining professional experience through field exposure and project participation. You will work directly with our team to help move client projects forward while learning about environmental regulations and compliance processes.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the preparation of permit applications, reports, studies, and memos.
- Conduct research related to environmental compliance.
- Support project management activities and coordinate with team members.
- Participate in field work as needed.
- Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies.
- Take on other environmental tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Completed one to two years of college-level course work toward a baccalaureate degree in environmental studies or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project software.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients, co-workers, and the public.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw conclusions.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Prior work experience in an environmental field is helpful but not required.

- Modality: This is an on-site, full-time position.
- Compensation: The hourly pay range for this role is $26.34 to $39.52.
