About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the transportation sector of civil engineering. You will work directly with our team in South Austin, receiving mentorship from experienced BGE employees throughout your term.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with team members on ongoing projects.
- Attend training sessions and events focused on your professional development.
- Participate in intern-specific activities alongside your regular daily tasks.
What you'll need#
- You are a full-time student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction, Landscape Architecture, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn industry-specific software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
