About the role#
BGE, Inc. is hiring a Transportation Intern to join our team in Austin. This is a paid, full-time position that offers hands-on experience in civil engineering. You will work alongside our staff and receive mentorship throughout your internship.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with team members on transportation projects.
- Take part in intern-specific activities and events.
- Attend training sessions focused on your career development.
- Engage in daily tasks related to our ongoing engineering work.
What you'll need#
- You must be a full-time student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, Landscape Architecture, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Office is required, along with the ability to learn industry-specific software.
- You should have strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- We are looking for a collaborator who works well within a team environment.
- You must be available to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
