About the role#
We are hiring an Environmental Engineering Intern for the summer of 2027. You will join our team in Buffalo to support project managers, professional engineers, geologists, and environmental scientists. This role involves coordinating and implementing environmental engineering solutions across areas like air quality, solid waste, and remediation.
What you'll do#
- Write reports and manage project data.
- Maintain field equipment.
- Assist with soil and groundwater sampling.
- Help with monitoring well installation.
- Support operations and maintenance for remediation systems.
- Work alongside technicians and technologists to complete project goals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, Hydrogeology, or a related field.
- A desire to learn on the job and apply classroom theory to practical settings.
- Motivation and a strong interest in gaining technical knowledge.
- Initiative to identify ways to assist staff with various tasks.

- This position is based in Buffalo, New York.
- The role follows a hybrid work model, requiring three days of in-office work per week.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
