About the role#
The Security Solutions Team is looking for an intern for Summer 2027. You will support the technology platforms and business processes that enable Corporate Intelligence and Security operations. This role involves working with case management, incident tracking, reporting, and workflow automation. You will contribute to technology initiatives that improve investigative, risk management, and security capabilities across the organization.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the administration and support of Kaseware and other security technology platforms.
- Collaborate with Corporate Intelligence and Security personnel, IT teams, and business stakeholders to identify process and system improvements.
- Develop documentation, training materials, job aids, and communications to support user adoption.
- Test system updates, enhancements, integrations, and new functionality.
- Support reporting, dashboard development, and data analysis to help drive operational decision-making.
- Participate in projects involving workflow automation and technology implementation.
- Research and recommend solutions to improve efficiency, user experience, and security operations.
- Serve as a representative for Security Solutions Team initiatives by gathering requirements and communicating with stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Full-time student status at an accredited four-year college or university.
- Current major in Data/Business Analytics, Information Systems, Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, or a related field.
- Anticipated graduation date in Spring or Fall 2028.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects with attention to detail.
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools like PowerBI.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- SQL experience and database management knowledge are preferred.
