About the role#
Dominion Energy is seeking an Instrument Technician Intern for the Warren County Power Station in Front Royal, Virginia. This role offers hands-on experience in power station operations and maintenance. You will work alongside experienced technicians to monitor and control plant equipment while building professional skills in an industrial environment.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the inspection, testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of plant instrumentation.
- Support preventative maintenance activities.
- Collect and analyze data.
- Participate in equipment inspections.
- Help with projects related to instrumentation and control systems.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a 2-year or 4-year degree program in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Electromechanical, Instrumentation, or related technology fields.
- A cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- An anticipated graduation date of Spring 2028 or later.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to learn and apply technical concepts.
- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrated initiative and a willingness to learn.

- Compensation: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour.
