About the role#
Dominion Energy is seeking an intern to support operations and maintenance at the Brunswick Power Station. This role provides hands-on experience in a power generation environment. You will work alongside professionals across multiple departments including Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Environmental, Safety, Electrical, Mechanical, and Technical Services.
What you'll do#
- Support equipment inspections and collect operational data.
- Analyze data to assist with project research.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to help station reliability.
- Observe and participate in day-to-day plant activities.
- Attend team meetings and learn about regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering degree program.
- A graduation date of Spring 2028 or later.
- A minimum GPA of 2.5.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.

- Compensation: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour.
