About the role#
This internship is based in the Electric Transmission Operations Engineering Support team. You will work alongside a mentor to learn the fundamentals of large electrical equipment, including transformers, breakers, switches, and instrument transformers. You will use technical resources and Microsoft Office applications to support asset management objectives.
What you'll do#
- Produce a proposal for a condition-based asset maintenance program.
- Develop proposals and recommendations for internal stakeholder collaboration and data exchange.
- Learn and apply the company culture of safety, ethics, and inclusion.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled as a graduate engineering student, specifically in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Graduation date of Fall 2027 or later.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Knowledge of engineering theories, principles, and practices.
- Strong planning, project management, and time management skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills, including technical writing.
- Ability to think analytically and solve complex problems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and other Office 365 applications.
- Ability to work effectively in both independent and team settings.

- This is a paid, full-time internship with a rolling term.
