About the role#
As a Supply Chain Engineering intern, you will verify quality and technical requirements for projects, products, and service deliveries. You will work on tasks ranging from the bid phase and component design through manufacturing and delivery. You will report to the APX WBS 3&8 Mech Modules and Valves Senior Manager.
What you'll do#
- Help with Supplier Audits and Technical Evaluations
- Support completion of NDA/PIA negotiations
- Assist with Request for Quotation (RFQ) package creation
- Schedule and support Supplier Design Proposal and Compliance Matrix review meetings
- Create Manufacturing and Process Plan estimates for design option selection or cost and schedule validation
- Coordinate Supplier Oversight Quality Assurance Technical Witness and Hold Points
- Work with the project management team and Supplier Quality support organizations
- Support Westinghouse Project Support Team execution
- Execute required Supplier QA Witness and Hold Points
- Complete the Westinghouse Quality Release (QR) to support shipment
- Archive the QR and associated Quality Assurance Data Package (QADP) in PRIME
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering, or a related discipline
- Completion of your Sophomore year of college

- Compensation: $25.40 to $29.00 per hour, depending on experience and skills
