About the role#
This internship offers high school seniors a chance to gain hands-on experience in essential utility services. You will work alongside experienced professionals to help keep critical water and wastewater infrastructure operating safely and efficiently. This role supports the community and helps protect public health.
What you'll do#
- Work with field operations teams on daily tasks.
- Gain exposure to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and instrumentation systems.
- Assist with maintenance and repair operations.
- Help provide essential utility services to the public.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current high school senior residing in Beaufort or Jasper counties.
- You must be at least 18 years of age by the start of the program.
Location & details#
- Location: Okatie, South Carolina.
- Term: Winter 2027 (spring semester).
- Duration: Up to 15 weeks.
- Schedule: 20 to 25 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- This is a paid, on-site internship.
