About the role#
Dominican University is hiring a Marketing Intern for the Fall 2026 semester. This role supports marketing and planning initiatives for ShopDU, a website that features student and alumni entrepreneurs. You will work 5 to 10 hours per week in a hybrid format, with at least one hour of in-person work required each week.
What you'll do#
- Design marketing collateral.
- Plan and run marketing campaigns across social media, email, and other channels.
- Manage various projects.
- Assist with communications and planning for ShopDU.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at Dominican University.
- Eligibility for employment in the United States.
- Experience designing marketing materials using Canva.
- Experience with Wix for website creation.
- Background in social media and email marketing.
- Ability to work as a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset.

- Location: River Forest, Illinois.
- Modality: Hybrid.
- Term: Fall 2026 semester (August through December).
- Compensation: $15 per hour.
