About the role#
Acola Coffee Company is looking for a student to manage their social media presence. This position works in partnership with the Robert W. Plaster School of Business at Columbia College. You will work 10 hours per week, helping to build the brand through digital content. This is a paid, part-time role that can last through December 2026.
What you'll do#
- Design and run social media campaigns.
- Draft and revise content calendars.
- Track engagement to see what content works best.
- Capture and edit photos and videos for posts.
- Attend company events.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current Columbia College student.
- You should have made considerable progress toward a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or Media Studies.
- Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
- Prior experience with graphic design or social media is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
