About the role#
The Center for Social Media and Alumni Communications (CSMAC) at Columbia College is hiring a part-time student employee. This role supports marketing and communication initiatives for the Robert W. Plaster School of Business. You will work on social media strategy, alumni outreach, and content production.
What you'll do#
- Design and execute social media campaigns across Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
- Draft and revise content calendars for social media pages.
- Update and maintain accurate records within the alumni database.
- Track social media engagement to identify successful content.
- Capture and edit photos and videos for various campaigns.
- Participate in team meetings and attend campus events.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current Columbia College student.
- Significant progress toward a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or Media Studies.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and major social media platforms.
