About the role#
This is a hands-on internship where you will work with the Director of Business Development to showcase company projects, people, and culture. You will help shape the public presence of a growing construction company while building your professional portfolio. This position is open to current students seeking real experience and responsibility.
What you'll do#
- Plan and manage monthly social media content calendars.
- Create posts, captions, graphics, reels, and stories for platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Capture project progress, jobsite culture, team highlights, and company events.
- Attend networking events, meetings, volunteer projects, and celebrations.
- Monitor engagement and help identify successful content strategies.
- Organize photo and video libraries and participate in brainstorming sessions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Columbia College student in good standing.
- Significant progress toward a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Media Studies, or Graphic Design.
- Prior experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- A self-motivated and dependable work ethic.

- Location: Columbia, Missouri.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Part-time, 10 hours per week.
- Compensation: $16 per hour.
- Term: Rolling applications.
