About the role#
The Practicum Education Office at Dominican University is hiring a Graduate Student Assistant to support administrative operations within the School of Social Work. This position offers an hourly wage of $15.25 for 11 to 13 hours of work per week. The role runs from September 2026 through May 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist with planning events for the School of Social Work.
- Enter data collected from student surveys.
- Update and manage agency resource information.
- Prepare flyers and various forms of correspondence.
- Organize, maintain, and issue office files and documents.
- Handle other delegated tasks to support the office.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as at least a part-time graduate student in the Dominican University School of Social Work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Qualtrics.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
- Availability to work during daytime hours.
Location & details#
- The position is primarily remote, with occasional on-site work required in River Forest, Illinois.
- This role is open to students pursuing degrees in Public Health, Sociology, or Psychology.
