About the role#
DigiPen Institute of Technology is hiring a Student Teaching Assistant for the DES-350-A Lab 2 course during the Fall 2026 term. This is a paid, on-site position based in Redmond, Washington. You will report to Jo Cronk and work between 5 and 10 hours per week from August 31 to December 15, 2026.
What you'll do#
- Grade student work and provide constructive feedback.
- Assist students in person during campus labs.
- Upload grades to Moodle.
- Track and report your hours worked.
- Assist the instructor with classroom tasks such as equipment setup or facilitating presentations.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency with C# and editor customization in Unity.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to help others learn.
- Ability to act as a mentor to other students.
- Must be able to attend at least one lab section in its entirety. The class meets Thursdays from 11:00 a.m. to 12:50 p.m.
- Good Academic Standing, meaning you are not currently on Academic Warning.
- Must be a currently matriculated student at DigiPen.
Location & details#
- Location: Redmond, Washington.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $17.13 to $18.25 per hour, based on your number of terms worked at DigiPen.
- Eligibility: You must reside in Washington state. You cannot work during times when you have a scheduled class.
