Student TA – DES-350-A Lab 2 (Cronk), F26

About the role#

DigiPen Institute of Technology is seeking a Teaching Assistant for DES-350-A Lab 2 for the Fall 2026 term. This role supports the instructor in the classroom and provides mentorship to students. The position requires 5 to 10 hours of work per week between August 31 and December 15, 2026.

What you'll do#

• Grade student work and provide constructive, clear feedback.
• Assist students in person during labs and maintain consistency in grading.
• Upload grades and documentation to Moodle.
• Attend at least one designated lab section in its entirety.
• Track and report hours worked accurately.
• Assist with classroom setup, equipment operation, and facilitating student presentations.

What you'll need#

• Must be a currently matriculated student at DigiPen Institute of Technology.
• Proven proficiency with C# and editor customization in Unity.
• Completion of DES-350 with a grade of B or better.
• Good Academic Standing and a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
• A positive attitude toward learning and the ability to mentor other students.
• Ability to maintain focus and circulate the classroom during lab hours.

Location & details#

• Location: Redmond, Washington. You must reside within the State of Washington to perform this work.
• Modality: On-site.
• Compensation: $17.13 - $18.25 per hour, based on previous terms worked at DigiPen.
• Schedule: Thursday, 11:00 a.m. - 12:50 p.m. (Lab hours).
• Note: Students may not work during any time they have a class scheduled.
