About the role#
This position supports the DES-350-A course during the Fall 2026 term. The Teaching Assistant will work under the supervision of the instructor to facilitate learning, assist with grading, and provide mentorship to students. This role requires on-site presence in Redmond, Washington, and is open to currently matriculated DigiPen students.
What you'll do#
- Grade student work and provide constructive feedback.
- Assist students during in-person lab sessions.
- Meet with students online if requested.
- Upload grades and maintain records on Moodle.
- Attend at least one lab section in its entirety.
- Maintain consistency and clarity in grading and report hours worked.
What you'll need#
- Proven proficiency with C# and editor customization in Unity.
- A positive attitude toward learning and a willingness to help others excel.
- Comfort interacting with other students on an instructional level as a mentor.
- Ability to arrive on time and maintain focus during work hours.
- Must be a matriculated student at DigiPen Institute of Technology.
- Completion of DES-350 with a grade of B or better is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Redmond, Washington (On-site).
- Term: Fall 2026 (August 31 – December 15).
- Hours: 5 – 10 hours per week.
- Wage: $17.13 – $18.25 per hour, depending on experience at the institution.
- Requirements: Applicants must reside in the State of Washington and cannot work during scheduled class times.
