About the role#
This is a paid, part-time Teaching Assistant position for the DES-100-A Lab 2 course during the Fall 2026 term. The role requires on-site presence in Redmond, Washington. Applicants must be currently matriculated students at DigiPen Institute of Technology in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. Candidates must have completed DES-100 with a grade of B or better.
What you'll do#
- Grade student work and provide constructive feedback.
- Assist students in person during on-campus labs.
- Meet with students online if requested.
- Upload grades and manage assignments on Moodle.
- Maintain consistent and clear grading standards.
- Track and report hours worked.
- Assist the instructor with classroom setup, student presentations, and administrative tasks.
What you'll need#
- Proven proficiency with Unity and visual scripting.
- A positive attitude toward learning and a willingness to help others succeed.
- Comfort interacting with peers in a mentorship capacity.
- Ability to arrive on time and maintain focus during work hours.
- Availability to attend at least one lab section in its entirety.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform tasks requiring fine finger dexterity.

- Location: Redmond, Washington.

- Hours: 5-10 hours per week.
- Compensation: $17.13 - $18.25 per hour, based on previous terms worked at DigiPen.
- Note: Student employees may not work during any time they have a class scheduled.
