Student TA – DES-100-A Lab 2 (Cronk), F26

About the role#

DigiPen Institute of Technology is seeking a Student Teaching Assistant for the DES-100-A Lab 2 course for the Fall 2026 term. This position supports the instructor in the classroom and provides mentorship to students. This is a paid, part-time, on-site role requiring 5-10 hours per week.

What you'll do#

• Grade student work and provide constructive feedback.
• Upload grades and maintain records on Moodle.
• Assist students in person during on-campus labs, including circulating the classroom to answer questions.
• Meet with students online as requested.
• Assist with equipment setup, operation, and facilitating student presentations.
• Track and report hours worked accurately.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a matriculated student at DigiPen Institute of Technology.
• Proven proficiency with Unity and visual scripting.
• A positive attitude and a willingness to help others succeed.
• Ability to act as a mentor and interact comfortably with other students on an instructional level.
• Punctuality and the ability to maintain focus during work hours.
• Availability to attend at least one lab section in its entirety (Thursday, 3:00 – 5:20 p.m.).
• Completion of DES-100 with a grade of B or better.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher and good academic standing.

Location & details#

• Location: Redmond, Washington.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Term: Fall 2026.
• Wage: $17.13 - $18.25 per hour, based on experience at DigiPen.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs; role requires approximately 80% sitting, 10% walking, and 10% standing.
