About the role#
RAMbassadors work within the Life Sciences Building and the Admission Cottage. You will report to Undergraduate Admission staff and work alongside student leadership. Your goal is to provide a welcoming and informative experience for prospective students and their families to help them understand life as an undergraduate at Delaware Valley University.
What you'll do#
- Lead campus tours for prospective students and their families.
- Answer questions and address concerns before, during, and after tours or in panel sessions.
- Set up and clear decorations and supplies for large admission events.
- Attend all mandatory events and training sessions.
- Complete office and recruitment tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled as a student at Delaware Valley University.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Confidence to speak in front of large groups.
- A positive attitude and effective time management skills.
Location & details#
- This position is located in Doylestown, Pennsylvania.
- Work is on-site and the term is rolling.
- This is a paid, part-time position.
- You may be required to work outdoors, lift up to 25 pounds, or sit at a desk for extended periods.
