About the role#
The Technical Product Management Intern will work within Developer Relations, Partner Success, and Platform Solution Development. You will gain hands-on experience with the tools and technologies that allow partners and developers to build on the Dayforce platform. This role focuses on a few meaningful projects while providing broad exposure to how product, technology, and partner teams collaborate. Projects are assigned based on business priorities, your strengths, and your interests.
What you'll do#
- Improve developer and partner documentation, learning content, technical samples, and self-service resources.
- Support research, testing, and analysis for APIs, integrations, connectors, and platform extensibility.
- Identify friction in the developer experience and turn feedback into actionable improvements.
- Explore how AI, automation, or new tooling can simplify internal or partner processes.
- Participate in product discovery, innovation, and proof-of-concept projects with Product Managers and technical experts.
- Take ownership of a project from initial discovery through to recommendation or delivery.
- Create useful outputs such as prototypes, technical resources, or process improvements.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Product Management, or Business Technology.
- Curiosity and a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to organize information and turn complex topics into clear content.
- Interest in APIs, integrations, SaaS platforms, and developer tools.
- Exposure to APIs, JSON/XML, SQL, scripting, or low-code development is an asset.
- Experience creating technical documentation or learning content is a plus.
Location & details#
- Term: Winter 2027 (4 or 8 months).
- Modality: Remote.
- Status: Full-time (37.5 to 40 hours weekly).
- Compensation: CAD 28.20 to 32.30 hourly.
