About the role#
The Adamah on Campus LA Intern supports the California Coordinator in building Jewish environmental programming across Los Angeles campuses. This part-time role requires 5 to 8 hours of work per week. The internship runs from September 1, 2026, through December 15, 2026. You will receive a $2,000 stipend for the term.
What you'll do#
- Attend weekly check-ins and relevant Adamah LA Hub meetings.
- Act as a student voice and perspective for Adamah staff.
- Guide students through the mini-grant application process for campus events.
- Promote Eco Shabbat in a Box and Tu B’Shvat in a Box initiatives.
- Coordinate logistics for the Los Angeles Immersive Day Retreat, including travel, speaker communication, and scheduling.
- Serve as a facilitator and peer leader during the Immersive Day Retreat.
- Consult on program content and travel to support staff-led programs on local campuses.
- Grow participation across the five LA Adamah Campus Chapters through outreach and recruitment.
What you'll need#
- A background in Jewish student or communal engagement.
- Experience with data tracking and analysis.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft suite.
- Familiarity with environmental language and initiatives.
- Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Comfort working in a virtual environment and adapting to changing situations.
- Preference is given to current Adamah on Campus chapter leaders.
