About the role#
We are looking for a Product Management Intern to join us for a 16-week project from January 4, 2027, to April 23, 2027. You will own a product challenge from start to finish, acting as a Product Manager with our own internal teams as your primary customers. Your goal is to explore how artificial intelligence can improve the workflows and decision-making processes of our Product Management organization.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with Autodesk Product Managers to understand their daily workflows, challenges, and needs.
- Conduct interviews and observations to pinpoint where AI can automate or enhance existing tasks.
- Prioritize opportunities based on customer value, feasibility, and potential adoption.
- Define product vision, requirements, and success metrics for your chosen projects.
- Build and test AI-powered solutions using rapid prototyping tools.
- Follow a build, measure, learn, and iterate cycle based on user feedback and data.
- Measure the impact of your work through time saved, task completion, and user satisfaction.
- Develop strategies to roll out your solutions and create training materials to support team adoption.
- Communicate your insights, experimental results, and recommendations to stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Product Management, Design, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong interest in Product Management and a desire to learn through hands-on work.
- Curiosity about how AI can improve business workflows and knowledge work.
- Ability to speak with users, synthesize feedback, and identify patterns in qualitative data.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to make informed decisions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with product management through coursework, internships, hackathons, or personal projects is a plus.
- Familiarity with building prototypes using AI tools, large language models, APIs, or low-code/no-code platforms.
- Basic understanding of software development and interest in developer tools, enterprise software, or the Design & Make industries.
