About the role#
Autodesk is looking for a creative technologist intern to join our team in Montreal. This role focuses on the intersection of artificial intelligence, computer vision, and the film, television, and game industries. You will work on projects that bridge the gap between machine learning and visual production.
What you'll do#
- Prototype and develop AI techniques that assist in the production of 3D graphics, video, games, and visual effects.
- Apply computer vision and graphics algorithms to improve artistic quality or production efficiency.
- Develop predictive models for analysis solutions using machine learning.
- Extend existing machine learning libraries and frameworks.
- Monitor and integrate recent research advances in AI that relate to company projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering with a minor in AI, or a Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Experience with 3D geometry, computer graphics, or computer vision.
- Proficiency in C, C++, or Python.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Familiarity with 3D packages and creative tools like Adobe Creative Cloud, Blender, Houdini, or Autodesk Media and Entertainment products.
- A research background in computer vision, machine learning, or video processing is a plus.

- This is a 16-week, full-time internship running from January 4, 2027, to April 23, 2027.
- The role is located in Montreal, Quebec.
