About the role#
As a Software Engineering Intern for the Winter 2027 cohort, you will join our team in Toronto to work on projects that power our AI products. You will collaborate with Product, AI, Legal, and GTM teams to build secure, intuitive systems. This is a 12 or 16 week internship where you will gain hands-on experience across the stack and see your work impact users in production. We are hiring for Frontend, Backend, Full-Stack, and Infrastructure roles.
What you'll do#
- Own a project from start to finish, including coding, testing, and deploying to production.
- Present your work to peers and company leadership.
- Write clean, maintainable code and own the quality of everything you ship.
- Use AI-assisted development tools daily.
- Build knowledge of our systems and users to inform product discussions.
- Debug problems and treat code quality as an urgent priority.
- Collaborate through code reviews, pair programming, design reviews, and technical documentation.
- Evaluate frontier models alongside senior engineers.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in computer science, engineering, or a related field, with a graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Previous internship experience.
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, or Go.
- Solid general computer science knowledge.
- A bias toward action and experience building projects from start to finish.
- Ability to explain complex technical ideas in plain language.
- Comfort using AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor.
- Experience at an early-stage startup is a plus.

- Compensation: CA$45 to CA$55 per hour.
