About the role#
As a Software Engineering Intern for Summer 2027, you will join our engineering team to work on projects that power our AI products. You will collaborate with Product, AI, Legal, and GTM teams to build secure, intuitive systems. This 12 or 16 week internship is designed for students who want to see how modern application-layer and GenAI products move from concept to production. You will be matched with a team based on your interests and experience, with opportunities across areas like Agents, Applied AI, Assistant, Enterprise, Infrastructure, and Mobile.
What you'll do#
- Own a project end-to-end from coding and testing to deploying it to production.
- Present your work to peers and company leadership.
- Write clean, maintainable code and use AI-assisted development tools daily.
- Build knowledge of our systems and the users they serve.
- Debug problems and treat quality as an urgent priority.
- Collaborate through code review, pair programming, design reviews, and technical documentation.
- Evaluate frontier models alongside senior engineers.
- Contribute to features such as retrieval over large document collections, interfaces for AI, compute infrastructure, or enterprise agents.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Previous internship experience.
- Strong proficiency in one or more languages such as Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, or Go.
- Solid general computer science knowledge.
- Demonstrated ability to build projects from start to finish.
- Comfort using AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor.
